Taking an All-Star Break

12 Jul

Well, you’ve probably already noticed that things look different here.

There have been some technical hangups with the “New” layout for my blog, so until we can get them figured out, I’m back to this layout.  It stinks because the “New” layout looked pretty awesome.  At least I thought so.  I always thought that this one looked like some sort of 5th grade extra credit project, but hey, it will do for now.

I already miss the Phils and am ready to get back to action in the next few days, but until then… I’m taking a little breather…

I have a few posts to publish in the next few days to re-cap what’s been going on, and I’ll make sure that you we get caught up before the Phils get back to work on Friday.

Hope everyone enjoyed the Home Run Derby.  Is it me or is that thing getting to be a bit of a marathon.  It had to be at least 3 hours long. I DVR’d it … Thank God for FF.   Apparently I picked wrong with Prince Fielder, but some how I knew that Jose Bautista was going to be a bust.

Have a great day!

This All Star Game has a mixed bag of feelings going into it. Polly and Vic can’t play. Hamels can’t pitch much to his dislike of that and Dubee has misgivings of the Halladay start. I just want it to be over with already and get back to regular play.

I agree Barb. I have another article posting later today that basically says that.

At the same time, I think that the players have earned a few days rest, don’t you agree?

    Have a great day!
